We have spent a good amount of time in class with coordinate plane so far!
Assignments that are updated in Skyward:
Page 48 #1-17 all
Page 58 #1-14 all
What to expect for next week:
Monday- Continuing Area and Perimeter for squares, rhombus, rectangle, and parallelogram.
Tuesday- Area and Perimeter of Triangles
Wednesday- Area and Perimeter of Triangles
Thursday- Area and Perimeter of Trapezoids
Friday- Area and Perimeter of Trapezoids
For each area and perimeter lesson, there is an assignment that students have chosen to either partner up or work independently.
Please remember to check Skyward regularly for your updated grade.
Objectives for the unit:
-students will be able to identify ordered pairs in all 4 quadrants.
-students will be able to plot ordered pairs in all 4 quadrants.
-students will be able to draw and identify polygons on a coordinate plane.
-students will be able to find lengths of vertical and horizontal line segments.
-students will be able to form polygons based on set areas and perimeters in a coordinate plane.
-students will be able to find the area and perimeter of squares, rectangles, parallelograms, rhombuses, triangles, and trapezoids.
