We have started the planning phase of our end of year math projects! Students were given different options that involve percent discounts, scaled models, budgeting, or small businesses. Each of them chose whether to work on their own or with a partner/small group and will work until the end of the project. Students will be working on the project in class. They may work on them at home, but keep in mind if they have a partner, both will have to be included. I also have some materials in class like popsicle sticks, but other materials such as chicken wire will have to be provided by parents. Projects will be due on Friday, May 19th.
Attached is the grading rubric for the project.
